Flipping through the cookbook Middle Eastern Cooking by Suzy Benghiat, I came across a recipe for chicken wings (on page 28, if you have it) with lime and garlic, two ingredients I'm crazy for. Rather religious about garlic. I wanted to cook a whole chicken to have leftovers...so I did. I put like 13 cloves of garlic in it, a lot of lime juice, some chili flakes, cumin, salt, and black pepper today because I couldn't help myself. Something about grinding the pepper makes me feel happy.

  2. It was really amazing, actually! The garlic & lime permeated the entire thing to some degree. The two doglets were begging at the fridge every time the door was opened!
